At Pied à Terre, we invite guests to engage in unique culinary experiences that combine learning, hands-on participation, and tasting exceptional cuisine. These experiences allow participants to step inside a Michelin-starred kitchen, understand professional techniques, and enjoy unforgettable meals.
Kitchen experience

Kitchen Experience

Guests spend half a day in the Michelin-starred Fitzrovia kitchen alongside the Head Chef and his team.

 

The session begins with a briefing and kitchen tour at 9 a.m., followed by hands-on work preparing mise en place and observing the rhythm of a high-powered service. Participants witness the precision of each station and the exacting standards of plating at the pass.

 

The experience concludes with a late four-course lunch in the dining room, with options to include an extra guest, and menu or wine flight upgrades available on the day. Prices start from £240.

Ceviche & Tartare Masterclass

For lovers of raw food, guests learn to prepare salmon gravadlax, tiger milk marinade, sea bream ceviche, scallop marinade, and steak tartare.

 

Each class includes plenty of tastings, a Pied à Terre apron, recipe cards, and a celebratory glass of fizz.

 

This hands-on, zero-skill-required session is fun, interactive, and ideal for small groups. Prices start from £150.

Pasta Masterclass

Guests explore the techniques of traditional pasta making, from dough preparation and rolling to creating ravioli with various fillings such as salmon and fresh ricotta, as well as perfecting Italian gnocchi.

Plant-Based & Vegan Masterclass

Designed for plant-based and vegan enthusiasts, this class demonstrates the creation of dishes such as cashew dip, cauliflower and orange soup, papoutsakia, chocolate mousse, and madeleines, alongside making a vegetable nage for stock.

 

Participants take home recipe cards, an apron, and enjoy tastings and a glass of fizz. Prices start from £150.

All experiences are available individually or as part of bespoke packages, combining masterclasses, wine tasting, cocktail making, or kitchen service. Classes run Tuesday through Saturday, with bookings via email or phone. Groups require a minimum of four guests and a maximum of six per session. What Our Customers Say

I recently visited Pied a Terre for a girls' lunch, and what an experience it was. We opted for the tasting menu to get a flavour of the different dishes. From heirloom tomatoes, textures of lion’s mane to dry-aged duck, each dish was mouth-watering and delicious. However, the highlights for me have to be the Orkney scallop and Cornish John Dory. They were absolutely delectable and I’d go as far as to say some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. The wine pairings matched beautifully.

The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. A shout out to Ciaran, who looked after us so well. David, the owner, was also a delight.

A gorgeous lunch in a fantastic setting. I can’t wait to return.

What a truly remarkable experience. We are both vegan and had the plant-based tasting menu, and I included the wine pairing. Every dish reached unimaginable levels of taste, flavor and texture while being visually stunning.

 

The wine pairings accentuated the most significant notes of the dish and of the wine. The menu changes seasonally, and I can’t wait for the next menu to see what incredible greatness and remarkable tastes they can bring forth. The vanilla bean dessert stole the show, but the plant-based tortellini with kale and pesto blew our minds.
