What Our Customers Say
Stunning restaurant for special occasions
Birthday celebration dinner. Booked then had to cancel due to my wife not being well. As this was at late notice, lots of places would charge - Pied à Terre were great - just said come another time. So we did for my birthday. The Anniversary menus are minimalist in description with 2 options, carnivore and plant based. It is great that you can choose courses from either. A number of options, 2 or 3 courses, tasting menus (5 or 7 courses) or a complet menu - 3 courses, aperitif canape, wine pairing, tea/coffee, petit fours. The latter is the option we went for. Food was, well, sublime,- clever, inventive, beautifully presented. Wine pairing done extremely well by a very approachable sommelier. Prices - well, expensive - complet -was £175 plus service charge - so over £400 for 2. However, we were there 3 hours, staff were lovely - down to earth, friendly and food was a real experience - A place for special occasions.

A journey with perfection
My wife and I flew into London for the weekend from Florida. I did my research (there’s so many options out there), as we wanted a Michelin star dinner - we decided to visit Pied à Terre as they’ve had a star the longest in London so we figured consistency is the key. The staff were all superb - every one of them; the ambience was relaxing, and the experience was a journey through culinary delight. We chose a 7 course and a 5 course and had drinks matched with each one (wine for me and non-alcoholic cocktails for the wife. The amuse bouche were a treat, but the scallop ceviche took our palates to a pure state of freshness, clearing the way for the tastes to follow. The tortellini with truffle, left us speechless as we were asked by the team if we liked it / how do you describe flavors that you can’t even identify? You just say wow. The only thing better on the plate than the sweetbread was the sauce it sat upon. We probably hit our daily calorie instead by now… but who cares - keep it coming. After the glazed cod knocked our socks off we asked Chef Aggelos to come say hello, which he kindly did. What a wonderful, talented professional gentleman! The quail, then sorbet, then dessert all excelled; but before I run out of space that Trip Advisor allow to do a write up, I must conclude that Connor the Somm was brilliantly entertaining and shared with us just the right amount of information to ensure we kept up without feeling novices in the subject of wine. His pairings were impeccable which is a talent all by itself. Top marks for Connor’s performance over dinner! There’s no doubt, the Owner’s Michelin star is safe, and while it’s not inexpensive it is totally worth it. I hope many of the 1.3million people that have read my Trip Advisor write ups thus far will enjoy a visit to Pied à Terre next time they’re in London.
