Ate at Pied à Terre last night for my birthday. Just a great experience. We did the 7 course tasting and wine flight - just great. Really beautifully done, exquisite flavours. Solid wine pairings (Sorry Connor, Emma didn’t like the very dry South African sherry! :D) However, for me the thing that really elevated the evening was the front of house service. David is the perfect host, his team (Suze & Connor) were great fun too - the perfect blend, good food and excellent, interesting, informed, fun hospitality. We do Michelins a lot and when it doesn’t work for us is when they take themselves too seriously!
